Quality assurance from the lab
Our Heartland Petrochemical Complex’s onsite laboratory building is a critical feature of our quality control program. Our laboratory was designed and optimized to ensure that every aspect of production meets or exceeds the high standards of our supply chain partners and polypropylene customers. Extensive quality control testing takes place in our laboratory round-the-clock and includes examining the mechanical, physical and chemical testing of our polypropylene – qualities that can impact run rates and output for manufacturers down the line.

“One of my team’s goals for 2026 is to continue optimization of the lab,” shares Agnieszka. “In the lab, we are always looking for a better, quicker, more accurate ways of testing. We are continually researching and exploring innovative ways to process our samples and improve our analysis to meet the needs of our customers. I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
