About

Bringing fresh energy to the global polymer industry

We are North America’s only single-site PDH/PP producer and we’re bringing fresh energy and new ideas to the global polymer industry. From our production complex in Alberta, Canada, to our sales headquarters in New Jersey, United States (U.S.), and to our storage-in-transit capabilities in between: We’re focused on creating a superior customer experience from order to shipment.

With a nameplate capacity of 525,000 tonnes of polypropylene per year, Heartland represents only the second new PP capacity added to the North American market in a decade. Our integrated facility was built with sustainability in mind from the very start. From lower GHG emissions to reduced freshwater uptake, we’ve spared no effort to seek new and smarter ways to produce the high-demand products that shape almost every area of our lives.

From our state-of-the-art quality control labs to our customer success group, we are delivering responsibly produced polypropylene products. Our business model was designed from direct feedback provided during industry consultations, which we conducted before our plant was in service. We have created our systems and processes and our sales and customer service program with an understanding of the shifting nature of the polymer industry and the daily demands that manufacturers, processors and converters face in the pursuit to remain competitive. We are committed to continual improvement and industry feedback.

Our motto is: “We believe in better,” and we’re working hard to prove it every day.
