Heartland packs up support for students

Employee volunteers created over 100 backpacks for local students.

At Heartland Polymers, we believe in giving back to the communities where we work and live. In preparation for back to school, teams at our Heartland Petrochemical Complex (HPC) and our parent company Inter Pipeline, got together to pack and distribute over 1,000 backpacks for local children.

“The day was an exciting day at the HPC backpack filling event, with so many team members coming together to support our community,” says Amelie Delisle, VP, Petrochemical Commercial. “Seeing everyone’s enthusiasm was inspiring. This initiative not only helps students prepare for the school year, but also strengthens our relationships with or neighbours in the community.”

The Heartland team’s backpack event supported the Fort Saskatchewan Boys and Girls Club. Over 100 backpacks were filled with the help of 30 volunteers.

Heartland Polymers is committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work. Our focus extends beyond operations to include meaningful community investment, employee volunteerism and support for local initiatives. By working closely with local organizations, we aim to be a responsible neighbour and active contributor to our communities.
