As one of North America’s newest entrants to the polypropylene (PP) market, the Heartland Polymers team is excited to announce that they will be attending this year’s NPE Plastics Show from May 6-10 in Orlando, Florida.
As North America’s only single-site and propane dehydrogenation operation, the team at Heartland Polymers is no stranger to striving for better. That mindset begins with a high quality product, but extends through to supporting the production and logistic needs of customers.
“It gets cold up in Canada, but our operation really isn’t subject to weather-related outages. Besides offering a high-quality polypropylene we are also able to help customers during unexpected interruptions in supply in the US Gulf Coast,” explains Yonas Kebede, Heartland Polymers Director Polypropylene Sales & Marketing.

The complex’s location in Alberta, Canada, lands Heartland Polymers in one of the world’s top propane producing regions in the world. Pair that with Heartland’s ability to produce polymer grade propylene feedstock for production on the same site, and you see a unique offering that not many producers can claim.
Julio Muzquiz, Technical Service Supervisor at Heartland Polymers, stresses that “the challenges our customers face become our challenges” as production and logistic needs evolve as the market shifts. What better way to get to know the needs of existing and prospective customers, than engaging directly with them at an event like NPE.
“You only get to be a new entrant to the market once,” says Yonas. “That’s not something we take for granted. We bring a modern perspective, a state-of-the art facility and a forward-thinking approach to everything we do. I’ll be down at NPE with our entire sales team and we are looking forward to seeing everyone in Orlando and talking more about the Heartland Polymers difference.”
