Heartland Polymers today announces Joanne Swiggett has joined its leadership team as Vice President, Petrochemical Commercial. Ms. Swiggett brings more than 30 years of experience in the petrochemical and polymers industry to the role, most recently serving as Vice President, Commercial Strategy Global Feedstocks & Energy at LyondellBasell.

Ms. Swiggett’s portfolio as Vice President of Petrochemical Commercial includes overseeing Heartland Polymers’ polypropylene sales and marketing, customer service, logistics and feedstock supply, and integrated business planning.

Ms. Swiggett brings extensive experience from her career in the industry to Heartland, including prior roles in specialty polymers, polypropylene sales, compounding, and upstream products managing natural gas supply and distillate trading. Those roles and experiences have included a geographic focus on North America, Asia Pacific and globally. Prior to her more than 10 years at LyondellBasell, Ms. Swiggett also held roles at Equistar Chemicals. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
